USA Football, the national governing body of America’s favorite sport on youth and amateur levels, and the Minnesota Vikings will conduct a USA Football Coaching School Saturday, June 21st, at the National Sports Center.

The gathering of area coaches representing approximately 8,000 youth football players is one of 40 USA Football coaching schools held across the country in 2008. Youth football coaches will gain insight from Vikings linebacker CHAD GREENWAY and the top high school coaches from throughout the Blaine, Minneapolis and St. Paul areas.

USA Football’s Coaching School curriculum incorporates in-classroom coaching theory as well as on-field coaching demonstrations. Nearly 450,000 youth coaches serve the 3.2 million American youngsters playing tackle football.

USA Football, based near Washington, D.C., is a non-profit organization providing coaching and officiating education and other resources to youth leagues and high school programs. Former U.S. Congressman and pro football quarterback JACK KEMP is USA Football’s chairman. USA Football was endowed by the NFL and NFLPA in 2002. For more information, visit www.usafootball.com.
